So I'm trying to diversify my portfolio a bit. I'm thinking some hand painted awesomeness would do the trick. I've gone over the tutorials on the wiki and played around a bit. I figured I'd try something on the easier side of things, a wood beam. Here's the texture flat and a render. Any C&C would be greatly appreciated :)…
For the prop I'm working on now, I wanted to render in Unreal, and also get some of the graphical elements animating. I wanted to make the two screens on this handheld animate. The middle touchpad section I wanted to act like an e-ink screen to display more data. None of these are interactive, just animated for show.…
Thanks for the feedback. I decided to go do a more "classic" hand painted style to practice my colour blending. I'm currently planning out a diorama for my next piece. Definitely something with a bit of foliage.

I put this together over the last couple days. I was going for a semi-cybernetic tree. Something that looks like the mechanics had been growing with it for a while. I don't plan on making any changes to this, but if any of you see something I should look out for in the future, let me know. Thanks in advance. :) I think I…
Hi everyone, trying to improve my zbrush skills and also find a suitable base mesh topology to start my heads from. They're only faces as the current project I'm working on it only makes sense as the rest of the head is covered. I don't think I have a topology I'm quite happy with, but I'm deffinitly getting there. Crits…
Hi all, I am trying to incorporate more sculpting into my workflow for personal and professional work and would like some feedback on one of my weaker areas, which is tiling dirt textures. Here's my sculpt alongside my composite + paint pass. Any crits would be appreciated on what I can do to improve. Thanks :)
