Export tiles individually
I have an object with 5 tiles, I made six tiles in Maya, as I read it is better, why it's better, I dunno, maybe someone wants to clear the air on this matter ? When I export the snapshot template of the UV tiles, instead of a series of image files of each tile that are either 4K or 8K I get one big image file that is 4K… -
Does Modo need a special .FBX exporter?

Thanks for confirming, Painter should export properly at the given resolution in the export window, so it's a bug. At least you have a workaround for the moment which is to change the document before exporting. We will do our best to address this issue quickly. -
MAYA .obj export group of meshes issue

zbrush export gone wierd
Um, so when I export one of my subtools, it does this: this isnt where it is supposed to be... I mean, a few exports ago, it was flipped the right way up, but quite a bit above 0,0,0 I can work around this, no problem... but I am wondering if something is going wrong? and would I run into any problems later on if I dont… -
ZBrush - Export Alpha with transparent Background
Hi guys, is there a way to export an alpha from ZBrush with a transparent background? While in the alpha palette the texture has a transparent background (I know this because I can drag rect it onto geometry without edge) but when I export I get a black background. Does anybody know a way around that issue? -

export 2d view in the export settings. I cant remember if you can export the various channels using that method on the default shader - we use custom shaders for that sort of thing at the office
