I'm trying to create a material where a textures uv coordinates are aligned towards a 3d vector represented by a constant 3. This is similar to a aligning by screen position, except instead of pointing towards the screen, I need it to point to the constant.
Hai all! I need a guy, who will do a model and textures for hats. Hat for them must be TAS-themed. All ideas from TASVideos community will be placed here. I'll be editing this post to know, what they want. :)
You dont need to bake low poly, trim sheets is about reusable texture for many meshes, and better texel density, especially for big objects, because they're tiling many times. Yes bake trim sheet on plane, and then unwrap low poly meshes to that texture.
The model is 90% done, only missing eyes,teeth/mouth.Painted the texture in Zbrush.. ( i don't have anything else..) >_>(Going for a semi realistic style) Image of the progress so far:
Hey guys I've spent an hour tryin to figure out why when I open up my Kitbash3D file it doesn't load the textures. Below is what I get instead, just pink meshes. Any ideas how to fix this?
Wanted to make an old and dirty Wood Texture inside of Substance Designer Adding anything more feels like breaking the vibe - maybe adding some more noisy pebbles on top of the lighter parts of the wood tough? Critique appreciated High Quality Images, Breakdown and more Substances/Stuff on my Page…
I have an object that I divided into parts and baked out the normals and Ambient Occlusion maps for. I assigned everything to each piece, but now I need to display all of my textures at the same time in the UV editor. is there any way to do this? Thank you very much, as I can't seem to find the answer so easily.
So I'm on Wildstar kick... Yay beta weekend again! I've also been on an Allegorithmic Substance kick. Most of the textures out of Substance so far has been semi realistic looking so I decided to try out a hand painted look. Here are results: No bitmaps.. all done procedurally. Final Substance size is 64kb.
I've been working on hand painted textures recently and I thought it'd be a good time to go looking for some crit/feedback on two of my more recent efforts. I feel like both of these are lacking a polish (particularly the wood, which is more of a first pass)? I'm always a little but lost on when to call things 'done'.
