Allegorithmic Substance for Hand Painted Textures Experiment

So I'm on Wildstar kick...
Yay beta weekend again!

I've also been on an Allegorithmic Substance kick.

Most of the textures out of Substance so far has been semi realistic looking so I decided to try out a hand painted look. Here are results:

No bitmaps.. all done procedurally. Final Substance size is 64kb.

Good start! I see a problem with the brick shapes though, I see the same thing in beginner's textures, every brick is shaped to fit exactly with their neighbors like puzzle pieces. I'd do a paint over but I'm at work right now :P

I think I know what you mean...

I still need to figure out what "node" or set up I can do to fix that. Would love to see paintover.
