I´m new here at polycount and i thought i´d introduce myself! My name is Martin, i´m 26 years old and live in Sweden. I just got accepted to a digital gaming school where i will be studying game art for 3 years. Unrelated to video, but since it's along a similar line: Have you looked at the .bpg image format? I tested it out recently and it might be a good optional-extra; you can get large (2560x1440) high quality images in the 50-200kb range - the main downside being the website needs to host a javascript decoder as no browsers… -

69 is the the right polycount. In 7 it gives you both in the utility one, I don't think other version do that. You can also get a plugin that always gives you the right tri count. Polycounts mean very little in todays games to be honest. -
Showing polycount in Tris (3dsmax)
Hey, I tried searching for hours and cant seem to find my answer. I remember using a plug in a few years ago to show the polycount as tris in the view port. ('7' Keyoard shortcut) I also see this in a lot of peoples screenshots and images of models they are showing. Any one happen to know the plug in, or how to enable it… -
