I'm so pissed at TechTV/G4, man!
I finally got invited to play a game with their LAN party. They said Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat so I applied and got an e-mail today. I find the server and can't get in. Not only did they not have a DC map they weren't even running Desert Combat! These are tech heads. Ya'd think they could get the right gotdam game up… -

Good to see you back at this, switz! I also like the shapes of your desert texture, it's definitely reading as desert for me. But the lighting seems all over the place; you've got the more subtle highlights pouring in from the top yet all the edges are distinctly outlined in highlights. Also loving this style you've got… -

As per usual, many updates in my 2D thread. also noodled out this, a re-do of the desert critter sculpt I did waaaay back, but now with more practice with drawing them, but less fancy renders. Top without luscious lashes, bottom with. Gotta keep that desert sand outta yer eyes. -

love it already, good landscape too. I'm not to sure about those tires though. I think regular tire grooves might fit it better since with those smooth tires you are not gonna have a nice ride in a desert. Look at some desert rally car tires, they have a lot of grooves and bumps for more grip. -
