Hey everyone! I'm back, with another modo question. I'm applying a morph map to a mesh at work, and I want to know if I can bake the morph on to my mesh permanently? because I"m having trouble having my morph show up in ther renderer, I want to see if i can try this instead. Input?

Hi there, in max it's always a pain to bool because of the clean up later on. I've seen the impressive and great booleant that comes with modo. its soo much faster to model like this in some ways. Are there any announcements about a better boolean option in the next max versions? Would be great to get some informations…
Hi guys! I don't understand how to display normal maps cleanly in Modo. I can get them to show up, but noticed they look off. Here is a test with a blank normal map. Why do I get this difference? Apologies for being such a nub.
Another Modo question for you experts. I'm baking some AO using floating geometry and I can't figure out how to keep the floaters from casting shadows in the bake. Is there a "casts shadows" toggle somewhere like in Maya or will I just have to paint them out?
I'm trying to use the advanced viewport with environment background, like in this video. But when I set the background to "environment" it just becomes a gray gradient, and I can't find any way to change what environment is used. And as is common with Modo, searching online hasn't revealed anything for me.

No matter where I search, I can't find any way to assign a UV seam in Modo for unwrapping. I'm concerned the option isn't even there. I know that if I select edges on the mesh before unwrapping it will split the UV, but this only works when selecting a complete edge loop in order to create a wholly separate UV island.…
