I have an issue with Substrate where anything over the fogged (rough) glass has artifacts around them. Like a glow and the area around doesn't have the rough glass. The more rough the glass surface is, the more the artifacts become larger. Went through a lot of settings and didn't have any luck. Anyone encounter this…
An exercise I did as an aside from working out of the book "Digital Sculpting Human Anatomy." I tried to rely on just stills from "Meet The Heavy" and orthographic images from Valve's free OBJ, but eventually I started whipping out the OBJ in Photoshop to help me through planing the face. It's the most generic sort of…
For starters, don't use screenshots like that. And if you must then at least crop them. Its much better to export the render passes from the "Render" menu. As for the model, the anatomy is just kind of off. I would suggest sculpting more normal looking faces to get an understanding of the underlying form and anatomy before…
Does anyone have any suggestions or techniques on how to go about the Battlefield 6 destroyed wall. The wall itself in its clean unbroken state seems simple enough, just a bunch of rectangles, Handles would be the most complex part of that. Even just one solid reply like yours really…
Hello! We are a brand-new team called Desperados (yes, we really are desperate). We are working on a new game mainly for fun and to gain experience together, with the goal of publishing it one day and creating many more games in the future. At the moment, we are looking for 3D artists (at least 2) to help us create assets…
I can't comment on gameplay yet but visual wise vig has some excellent points- tf2 makes heavy use of different materials to differentiate teams- its often easy to tell just by 'feel' which side of the map you're on. I know you're an awesome artist so you must have some feel for that, however sometimes its not as easy to…
Thanks guys for feedback I really appreciate that. I did some tweaks like adding handmade rust and rusty spots, some dust and cleared most annoying dDo mistakes. What else to say I look forward for your response and here you go new pack:
Hi, Trying out Zbrush for the first time now, made my first ever bust without any tutorial movies in the background, just using Google as a referance for tips on old roman busts. So the plan is to make one now wich is not to detailed but ad a hint of cloth as well, its a fun work in progress. We practice with Mudbox at…
