Hello!
We are a brand-new team called Desperados (yes, we really are desperate). We are working on a new game mainly for fun and to gain experience together, with the goal of publishing it one day and creating many more games in the future.
At the moment, we are looking for 3D artists (at least 2) to help us create assets and characteres for our game, which is set in a steampunk world.
The engine we are using to develop the game is Unity.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Some team members are at their first experience in game development, while others already have some small experience. Our goal is to learn and grow together.
The environment is pretty chill (but professional): since we all work and have personal lives, deadlines are set while taking into account the level of commitment everyone can realistically give. This is a passion and a hobby for now. If one day we can turn it into something more, great! Until then, we will just do something that we love.
The team currently consists of:
1 Project Manager
2 Game Designers
3 Game Programmers
1 Artist (3D, specialized in animation)
1 Sound Designer
The game is a 3D action role-playing hack & slash about a homeless man who finds himself in a steampunk world and must find his way back to reality.
It is set in a dystopian, industrial steampunk universe with a dark atmosphere, mixed with bizarre elements and dark humor.
The art style is 3D cartoonish / low-poly.
The game is currently in the prototype phase, and we are working on implementing the next features. We are planning to have a testable version available soon.
In the meantime, we are looking for artists who would like to help define the art style and contribute to the creation of assets for the game.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer payment at this stage. However, if everything goes well and we are able to launch a demo version, we would be more than happy to find a way to compensate contributors and expand the project.
In any case, we believe this could be a great opportunity to gain experience working within a development team and to add a meaningful project to your portfolio.
More information about the game will be provided privately to those who want to join us on this adventure.
If you are interested (or know someone who might be), feel free to send me a message on Discord: giovannil.
