Very cool sculpture. Well done. This dwarf is going places. There is one thing. I think you should go with real hair. Fibermesh, xgen or whatever, as long as it is real. One, because this piece deserves it, two because it will go so well with the really smooth and well done anatomy of his face and body.
@Brian"Panda"Choi the knot is mostly zbrush, I tried to do it in marvelous but didn´t quite manage it. @Phoenix995 thanks! yeah I´m currently making the textures using xgen/coiffure and i´m gonna place them in maya using GS curvetools which I bought the other day
Last update before the final, hopefully... Was working on making haircards using xgen in Maya and the result was alright. I am going to be pursuing a different method, so no hair for now. Scarf and Suit textures are mostly place holder. Any comments, questions or critiques are extremely welcome as this is my first attempt…
High poly model of an Asker online fanart that I started during my last term at Think Tank online, mentored by J Hill. The cape was modeled in Marvelous Designer and the hair was groomed in Maya using Xgen. Everything else was sculpted in Zbrush. Original artwork by artist Woo Kim. Hope that you like it! :) Any feedback is…

but all those third party tools are still under development... most of them from the original devs... its much faster to start with an thirdparty tool than to develop all inhouse... xgen is ten years growing tool... would you like to wait that long... same goes for MASH or CAMd... im fine with jumpstarting a development...
Made some Xgen hair (to learn about it) and imported to Zbrush. I'm not going to use it as something final, just for testing. I decided to make just the bust in-game as an intro to game character workflow. I have to start learning somewhere xD See ya around :) Happy thoughts! Maya: In ZBrush with default render settings
Its been awhile since I've updated this thread. Kinda slowed down on this guy since I recently got a new job and had to move out of state. Update for today is that the piece is now in Marm 3 and MAN IS THAT PROGRAM DOPE!! I worked on the hair using a Xgen hair as a base and game rezing it from there.
Hi One thing I'd love to learn is how exactly to make a Fuzz map for clothing. I did a Google search, but nothing useful has come up. It looks to be something useful to include to help make my clothing look more like clothing. To include some, well, fuzz lol. What is the best workflow for this? Is it just a case of adding…
Hi, I'm currently working on this character model of the Hulk and I'm just asking around for any feedback or ideas that I could carry out to improve my model :) I'm aiming to keep the model at around 10,000 quads (20,000 tris), as if it could be used for a game. I'd really appreciate any tips people might have for creating…
