Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but I'm looking for a plugin I used a while ago but lost the name of. It takes the unwrap of a simple or complex mesh, and then uses the unwrap to lay it completely flat in one axis and uses a morpher to switch between its original position and its flat position. you could then skin…
I haven’t found any information about this. Do I understand correctly that Marmoset considers #7f7fff to be flat? Is there some way to adjust the standard flat color?
Hi! I've recently been getting into environment art, and I've familiarized myself enough with the tools to sculpt and texture a stone wall, for example. However, just having a texture on a flat plane is lame nowadays. So I'd like to add actual geometry to the walls, such as protruding rocks. Same for the ground! A simple…
I know non-game freelance artist can ask upfront flat fee, but wondering what's your experience is like for clients who state right away that they prefer paying flat fee only. Get your full pay after delivery? Or can you still do installments or per milestone, just no additional cost to clients if there are unexpected…

I've posted about this in a couple of other places, thought I'd do a similar post here given all the artists here. So I'm struggling with the art style for our game. We are a very experienced tiny team that is very tech heavy atm, the game is in the mmo genre. I really want to make a flat shaded/stylized look work. But…

I would like to wrap the converted flat mesh onto the original mesh. I tried the script "flatten Model by UV 0.1.2 for Maya" in Maya 2018.
