I started a thread in the technical talk, but continued working. I have since then added some rust and what not to my barrel, and think I need to ask how she looks. I am also going to include what I asked in the OP. Maybe someone can help me out here. ORIGINAL POST. I do not know how I got to this point, but I am wondering…
Hi, polycounters :) Thank you for visiting this thread and being part of the journey of this project. I'd like to share the environment I have been working on since this June in Game Art Institute Environment Artist Bootcamp (it was such a fantastic course). I want to record the progress, thoughts and what I am willing to…
Hello! I've been a hobbyist 3D modeler for years now. I've dreamed of becoming a game designer but haven't really felt my skills were up to par. I've been out of college a few years now and have had a few failed projects, including a successful greenlight project that unfortunately was too much for our small team to…
Hi there! I've been trying to learn ZBrush sculpting. I've been going through tutorials and trying to build up my knowledge, though it's a pretty intense program and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of it. Interesting. A CD that teaches one game programming!! =\ Is he interested in game programming or game development as a whole. You are on the right path if you believe that he requires to learn coding before moving forward to stuff like learning the game engine and 3d arts. For Languages you can get the material online and…
I started a graphic design company with a business partner a few years back. We folded after being in business for a few years, but I learned a lot from the experience. Here are a few pointers. 1. Don't get an office unless you REALLY need it. In this modern age of distributed computing and easy teleconferencing, an office…
@RedLehari Couple things come to mind based on the gifs you showed. The first one is to be expected, the depth of the POM is a bit extreme, to compensate you'd need to add more steps. Alternatively, the second gif is actually a work around, by using TAA you can dither the results which allows you to use less steps.…
