Hi, My bake is confusing me can you please help me. I'm at 0.15 max front/rear in substance, and I've attached my 3ds max low poly to mid poly . I have highlighted the issues in blue. I'm so confused why are these places looking so bad? Thank you!
Not all of us can be as artistically inclined as some on this site. It would be nice if I could take a cube, apply a multi-resolution modifier in Blender, and crank out a masterpiece. But I just can't...and I know there's quite a few others out there that suffer the same disfunction :) I've created a walk-through of the…
Is it possible in 3ds max9 to vertex bake light information onto a model that has already been textured, to display the shadows onto the texture??? Thanks! -Buddikaman-

I really am not sure what I am doing wrong. Can someone guide me over here? Here are the models: These are the UV's I'm using: Here's the Normal and AO:
Hi! Marmoset 3.07, Steam. Reimporting fbx lowpoly with same groups seems done successfully but selecting baker folder then leads to crash. A couple of details: I import lowpoly in automatic way to auto hook up all groups from lowpoly and then import my highpoly meshes as multiple obj files and assign them manually. This…
Wondering if will be possible to bake the whole geometry of this grid used as a step in a staircase. Not an expert but knowing normals can shape surface properties, wondering if will work also on a so deep grid.
This was a normal map bake, with the padding set to 64 in 3ds max.I am wondering is there a setting (or a way) to get rid of the (blue) vertical/horizontal stripes (that look like empty pixels) in the padding. ?
