Hello, I'm posting here on behalf of the team working on the Multiversus Infinite community mod for the game Multiversus. We are a dedicated and hard working group of programmers and artists who are committed to making the best mod we can and have made significant strides in development towards our goal of 1.0 launch, we…
Hello! We are a brand-new team called Desperados (yes, we really are desperate). We are working on a new game mainly for fun and to gain experience together, with the goal of publishing it one day and creating many more games in the future. At the moment, we are looking for 3D artists (at least 2) to help us create assets…

Found this again today, featuring some of the old crowd, and a bit of what Polycount used to look like, back in 2002 when we were all trying to figure out how to make normal maps https://ericchadwick.com/examples/files/polycount_2002_messageboard.html
@fallenskyzero cool! okay yea so you did a full pipeline migration in the end to make it work. I've been using Godot more too and it's really just gotten to a point where it's actually useable, there's a lot of nice features in it that you can tell they came up with because of gripes with other engines, etc. Blender is the…
I'm new to maya and game design in general, so apologies if this question is very newb. I'm currently working on training my subdiv modeling skills(pressing the 3 key to see smoothed version of model) to train on making a high res version of my polygonal mesh. So I wondered what your thoughts were on using the creasing…
This is a thing I started sketching a while ago, it's been a sort of go to project to open up and push some polygons around when I don't want to deal with my "main" projects. It's a redesign of Corporal Hart from timesplitters 2 in a more modern / realistic style. I don't really do a lot of sci fi so this is a fun change…

I'm honestly not sure what you're aiming for (to me gradient texturing suggests the use of lookup tables and shaping curves) but... if you want it to look like a bunch of floor tiles it sort of already does - using a box shaped gradient would make it look more tiley if you want it to not look like a load of floor tiles…
I just released a new script for 3DSMax which lets you copy and paste (or unify) the length of selected edges or edge loops. It also lets you get/set the distance between verts or objects. There are a lot of one-off scripts that do some of what it does, but I thought it would be useful to have something a bit more…
