nite, the wyverns only spawn once you beat the wall of flesh. You don't even need to find a floating island. you just need to be high enough. Easiest way to kill the wall of flesh is to build 1 straight ass bridge in hell, then just run and shoot at it. pretty easy if you have a minishark or some sort of magical item.
