Hi guys, Posting here on a recommendation from my uni course. Basically I'm a MSc 3D Games Modelling student and the task for my Advanced Rigging module was to create a working rig for either a quadruped or a vehicle. I chose to rig a Monster Truck and used the Grave Digger truck by Prykie (no marks for modelling, only the…
Cesar Decal Jr, Film FX Creature Designer, ZBrush Guru and my one time tutor is currently running an event on Facebook where every day this month he creates a real clay sculpt of a monster and posts up photos and a timelapse video with a little discussion (and mugging for the camera) of the process for each sculpt. Now the…
i am the monster (but you let me right in) is a short story focusing on Kayn's past and lore, namely the events that unfolded after he decided to take Rhaast instead of destroying the weapon. It means to mainly show three things: Kayn's inner conflict and emotions and his relationships with both Rhaast and Zed, because…
Here is my reference. For some reason, spiders always send the chill down my spine, and combined with a human form? Even creepier. I got inspired by Jorogumo youkai from Japanese folklore here obviously. I also found a great Thai legend as inspiration: a young beautiful woman who died because of miscarried her child, but…

But I am here to learn and I wouldn't get far without asking for help and feedback from skilled hard working bad asses such as yourselves. (Also I don't think this matters but I'm…
I've actually been increasingly impressed with the animation in games over the past several years. Things like Assassin's Creed have some great stuff, one of my favorite things in Monster Hunter is the monster animations (things like Duramboros' wicked tail spin, nice weight to it!), and I also enjoy non-character/beastie…
He said that he must play in lower settings than in Skyrim which has better Quality. Your appraoch is the target audience and general Spec. In my opinion: Its a matter of possibilities. In a single player game you are the centre of everything. When a monster is behind a wall in Skyrim you can say " It cant go in my way so…
You a fucking monster! I have a question for you, do you sketch shit up before you start, or is all this on the fly from your head? Would be cool with a vid on your texturing to. Just to see what approaches you use on stuff!
The Stonedfag character guidelines are too strict for for no compensation, and allow little to no creativity (ie, bunch of naked monsters = bad character design). Also, you have some technical goofs, mainly your texture requirements should be quarter scale based on the polycount demands.
