I'm doing a Mason Man-At-Arms together with Pior, here's the concept and the progress thus far. We re-jiggered it for the Mason MAA instead of the Agatha MAA because the wings motif is more in line with their sigil and the Mason seems a bit more rough around the edges which works nicely with the design of the Holy Water…
Doing a lion themed set. I'm thinking of making the mane actually fur like, if I can make it work with the engine, I recall reading the main shader in use doesn't support alpha blend or test. If that's the case, I'll go with something more in the realm of sculpted metal. Planning to do a flail themed as a lion's tail, and…
Hey you guys! I had to jump into this. I'm going to try and finish this comp even though work has most of my time atm. Current idea: A Mason Knight set (The weak shall serve the strong!) -Helmet: Heavy armor with dragon and fire details -Weapon: Bearded Axe with dragon and fire engraving Cheap sketch-
Doing both helmet and weapon (Two handed axe or sword). I plan to make something battleworn and really play into the Mason theme. Dark steel, red and mean. Quick inspirational thingy (literally 10 minutes during lunch break). Will add and adjust and iterate on it later but just wanted to give you a heads up of my direction.
Hey, the model is nice, but to me it looks a bit fantasy-ish, although I have not played Chivalry, but the style is a bit different to what I saw, so don't throw stones at me I'm a newbie here. :) Have you tried not painted metal instead?
Gotta start somewhere, I am going to be passively blocking out a helm and heavy crossbow tonight. The challenges I see after playing the game for a bit is crafting an asset that is compelling but also ties into the largely utilitarian theme of the main game (for the period). Most of the weapons and armor I've seen don't…
Here's where I started off. This is my helmet highpoly: Inspired by this concept, which I loved. I switched up proportions, weighting, made it chunkier, went further into the skull theme with the skull-plate welds showing, and other stuff to differentiate it. Here is the blade, some quick stetches but no real concept on…
I love medieval weapons so I'm going to make this my first contest. Not a huge fan of the longsword, so I'm going to redo it. I'll post some sketches soon. I did put together a super quick Toolbag 2 scene with all of the swords for reference. I didn't do anything fancy with the lighting or anything like that as I just…
Hey guys, im very excited about this contest and will be updating you all with my lastest revisions as much as possible. I would love your feedback and put it to good use. Thanks in advance! (this is also my first forum thread so bear with me if I dont know what im doing.) Anyways for this contest I will be making a Sainte…
So,one last final entry to this competition, lots of entries have been slash weapons, namely swords. So I figured another blunt would be a fun weapon to make. So I was thinking of a variant of the Grand Mace, that looks a little more brutal then the original. The general inspiration,is based off Sauron's mace from Lord of…
