[Chivalry] - Spear - Ornate Saintie

Hey guys, im very excited about this contest and will be updating you all with my lastest revisions as much as possible. I would love your feedback and put it to good use. Thanks in advance! (this is also my first forum thread so bear with me if I dont know what im doing.)

Anyways for this contest I will be making a Sainte spear, I am using a reference from a book i have. First I will post a few ref, pictures. Then What I currently have done.

Im having a hard time figuring out how to post more pictures. can anyone help out?

Easiest thing is to post your pics somewhere online (tumblr, imgr, deviantart) and then just put them into your messages using the url.

Im planning on tweaking this further. I feel like its headed in the right direction but im not satisfied with the look of the materials. Im using Quixe suite. any suggestions?

Steel, wood, and maybe some bronze for detail definition. That's probably what I would do.

Ok awesome thanks i deffinatly agree. I kept looking at it last night till the point where i became frustrated because i didnt know what to change. but that helps thanks man. Oh what 3d application do you model in. I saw your hammer it looks great.

Thanks! That was done in zBrush. I do all my low poly work in 3ds max then.

Sorry for the last minute updates. I got sick and couldnt work on the spear. Gonna have to make due with the texture and get to making it game ready with the sdk, this weekend. Hope you all like it.
