Thanks. I have smooth boolean, but that does not compare to the speed of using this method on chamfers. I can really quickly export and re-import from blender if I need to. The problem is the messed up geometry. Triangulation isn't an option because I want to retain the ability to continue modeling. -

Just for completeness, a small correction to the quicktime thingy mentioned above: thanks god that quicktime (VR) is a thing of the past and pano imagery display on websites etc.. is all possible without any plugins. Just a few additional thoughts: You don't need to be running at 30fps - this is waste. You can get by with smooth video at 24-25 fps.
