Hi guys! I don't understand how to display normal maps cleanly in Modo. I can get them to show up, but noticed they look off. Here is a test with a blank normal map. Why do I get this difference? Apologies for being such a nub.
3ds Max 2008 :poly118: I'm using dual monitors, and of course, anytime I bring up the stitch selection dialog box, it pops it over to the other side of the country and pisses me off. Ok, so i thought about use the Turtle bake, but i couldn't figure out how tu use the envelope and did no find the ''texture baking view'' either, i tried some tutorials but they are outdated as well as the '' autodesk knowledge network ''. Or if would be better learn an external tool like xNormals?

This is how I do it: btw .. the "select with", "doubleclick speed" and "emulate numpad" settings are not part of the viewport controls and relay on your personal preferences
