Hello, Is there a way to disable the backface of mesh to cast shadow ? Basically i need this for the floating geometry not to cast shadows and ao in my hipoly renders. (I want them to render like in viewport) Im using 3dsmax and MentalRay. Thanks.
Shader FX in 3ds Max 2015, when I use a Float node and compile the FX shader, the Material Editor refuses to allow negative values. It only allows zero or greater. Is there a checkbox I forgot to tick?

Place a component mask after the scene texture, and use r,g,b. By default it output alpha as well , so thats float 4. and your texture is float 3, this is why it reports the error.
Normally, I either use Play Sound or I toggle one on and toggle it off with a delay. All sounds added via kismet have the fade in and fade out time in their properties. I've never built it, but I'm sure you could plug at set float with a delay back to itself that keeps setting the float to a lower number and assigning that…
