Hi all, I am wondering if it is possible to render my 3d scene as a flat 360 panorama ? So I can use it as texture on a photo sphere ? I played with the camera settings with no luck. Any help or tips appreciated. Many thanks Thomas
Is 3DO an acceptable tool to use for final renders for portfolios? I get its easy enough to use Toolbag 2.0, but being tight on money and recently purchasing the suite I was just curious if it's ACCEPTABLE not necessarily common to use 3DO *using it for simple props

Hello polycounters ! I'm currently working on an engine which is a bit low-level regarding the shaders. I must create them by hand but I'm not yet comfortable with hlsl and glsl, I was wondering if Render Monkey was still usable and not too much out of date ? Is there any alternative of it available ?

any good shader setups for polygon hair in max? The anisotropic doesn't seem to work that well and I don't want to resort to using hair plugins at this point. When I say 'shader setup' I mean rendering a material, either standard material or mental ray.
