Hello! I created fanart of this character from Hellboy. I challenged from scratch to rigging, animation, etc. Feel free to give your honest feedback and hopefully share your thoughts. Thank you! Here's The Rookie's link below for detailed breakdown. https://www.therookies.co/u/handmanpffft
Hi, we're working on 'Blood&clay' https://bloodandclay.com/bnc.php and we're looking into transfering the rendering from Arnold to Unreal. If you are an UE pro and skilled in the render features: We want to test UE with this shot( scroll down to 'first shot'). What I want to know first: will it work?- we have scanned…
You can also post process added sharpness onto your video in some compositing app (after effects/shake/whatever). Marmoset renders looks so sharp thanks to it's sharpness post-process.
rafiii Be aware Designer's openGL render is outdated as hell with very dim highlights vs typical modern game . Iray is better representing what will you see in a game probably . And you should look at such material with sharp light to surface angle to be able evaluate it right . Just my extra 2 c. Front illumination…
Your issue is that your original mesh is actually sharp instead of looking sharp. It's essentially a bad hard edge across the multple hard edges. Do you need them to be THAT sharp? Can you run a small Deformation>Polish operation on it?

I tried to make the bottle out of this reference, but I'm struggling. It smooths well, I think it doesn't look bad, but there's…
this picture has become pretty famous. I am going to share it again. I think some of your edges are not only too sharp but everything also feels too thin and too shallow. Really going to need to push some of the thickness on things, not only so you can get your edges rounder but so that it is actually worth doing the…

I love the art style of the game Cyberpunk 2077. To challenge myself and improve my portrait sculpting I decided to make a female…
Thanks heaps for that. I solved the problem. It was 'marked sharp' even though I don't remember ever assigning it as sharp. Even when I would delete that whole section and rebuild it from scratch it would still appear sharp. All good now.
