Can you edit a Parameter setting with a Function?
In Substance Designer is there a way to dynamically edit an exposed parameter setting (like Min,Max, or Step) based off the value of a separate input? So for instance, if I have two Integer 1 parameters, could the Default input of one parameter control the Max parameter of the other? -
How does this function?
So as per suggested in a previous thread I found and looked at this overwatch character. The place I got it from said it was an original from the game but when I looked at the model I noticed that it's broken up into pieces. So things that would make sense to be disconnected, are disconnected such as sachelm helmet, armor… -
Ivy Generator for Blender Leaf Alpha Not functioning
Hey guys I am using this Ivy Generator linked here: https://app.gumroad.com/d/21a8fe9c625ef31881b101b5990858e4 And I have it set up and working but the Alpha isn't working and I am getting a black texture instead of a transparent one from the nodes and don't know how to fix this. Any ideas? -

Does Mudbox have a function equivalent to Dynamesh?
One of the great features in Zbrush is Dynamesh, allowing for unrestricted deformation of sculpt topology when sketching something quickly. If I wanted to do this in Mudbox however, would I already have to block out all of the major and minor forms with a base mesh in Maya or Max etc? Is the mesh density fixed, allowing… -
Is there a smoothing group+turbo smooth combo function in maya?
i know there is creasing in maya with its crease set editor, but i cant get it to look as nice and precise as how max does it by adding smoothing groups and turbosmoothing it. is this just a limitation of maya? Id like to subdivide my geo without adding a ton of edge loops and make it look as nice as how 3dsmax does it. -
MAYA Hide function not working!!!! UGH!!! HELP!
So the standard "alt H" keyboard command does nothing. Ctrl H hides stuff, Ctrl+Shift brings it all back.....it's not the caps lock, it's not the alt key itself on the keyboard. The other alt key doesn't work either. So I'm stumped. Bad prefs? How can I fix this? It's destroying my workflow. :poly142: -

Search function not searching past current year?
I don't know if I'm going crazy but in the Advanced Search, I enter in Find posts from "A Year Ago" but the search results only show matches from the current year. For example, I type in "gun" in the search, "A year Ago" for how old to start searching, I select PnP section to search, and the results are only from 2009. I'm… -
