Looking for improvements - Modelling a Sony walkman- University work
Hi everyone, I'm looking for any improvements on a piece of work that I completed for my 3D modelling course, the object I modelled was the Sony TPS-L2 walkman, below I have included the image I used to display the model as well as a larger image of the final model. -

Mark my words, when proper motion controls catch on for FPS/TPS they will eclipse both gamepads and m+kb as the ideal option. The reason is pretty simple: what better way to simulate aiming than actually aiming? In the meantime, different strokes for different folks. Look up a guy named Allan Mckay, his career specializes in simulation FX and post. He has a few good free tutorials on the various programs TP, Realflow, Fumefx, and Afterburn. Other than that there are several tutorial hubs that do Real Flow as well. Straight forward, Fun program :P. -

Well especially the hands and the flag and cape parts could use some more contrast. I did a really quick paintover with a mouse so sry for teh maybe terrible quality but this is what I mean: Also the tp of the tail might get a bit darker, so it has a bit conrast with the top part. -

My office is RIGHT next to the crapper here, so I get to hear & smell the foul bowel emissions of our talented staff. Somebody here also leaves the empty cardboard tube on the TP roll, and sets the new one on top of the toilet, instead of just changing the roll. Same thing with the paper towels. -
