Tldr; fiddling with things till i get it right, learned the milliseconds matter eventually, got 2 versions of the shader now.

Yeah, i am testing taking apart the current setups of the current material shader options available and seeing what does what and then re-configuring them back together, its been a learning experience.  Doing this all on the fly & to just learn, as i was working on this stuff i noticed that the milliseconds do matter and i should take them into consideration.  Can see that it will "bog-down" the system eventually & that there is a "process & functionality" to doing these things "correctly or "smoothly" & that, that helps with this stuff.

Sadly it seems along the lines of fiddling with Blender somewhere i never clicked that current shader to going into the Blended mode option so i now have two versions which is still helpful in that now i have a dithered version & Blended mode version of the same kind of shader, which isn't bad it now helps me configure them to looking the same as best i can.

Here is the actual Blended mode one now:
    (tried lowering the size)
I am past this point now this one just displays better fidelity but yeah this is closer to what i wanted.

Still very much to do, probably though by the time i figure it out blender devs will release something & all this time spent doing this will be for nothing more than my own learning experience.  It was cool to me while it lasted.

    -updated 04-13:
fixed shader now it works better totally redid it, i.e. tried a different idea and it worked out:

-cooking the video with stats, temps, viewport lag, & all that, atm
    blended.
full quality, rename the .zip to the img extension on it, so just delete the .zip part for video.

temporary till i can gif this or something.

So when you view this, its without shadows 5.ms and when i turn lights on is the only time blender increases the milliseconds.
    Otherwise its 12ms in view-port.
do i sell this or just give it away? thoughts? .. .. not like anyone pays for anything i make anyway or is this done already and if so how come i never seen it...

This is shadow, thermal testings shots, i redid the shader & played with a lot of stuff, testing things, does it work, yes it did, for now but still ran into some things i need to fix, sort, work around.

Been a while felt like i should update, to keep me motivated.

something different since i might've temporarily or permanently abandoned the above few posts.
    "fixed/enough"

Loaned to the 2D section of the forums. Anywho, 3 days 5 hour-ish+... just f--kn round.
    verbal update:
Giving up on Blender, their too soft there for my liking so probably no more progress on the shader & stuff.

Feeling like drawing more lately past two years also doing outside digital stuff, paintings/pencils, idk if i want to show irl stuff with all this thievery lately, oh i mean new tool (ayyiee)

Besides that verbal update i'm working on a rick cause i made a morty cause when i saw it i liked it & i said why not...
idk how to tackle the texturing if i want to super-old-school texturing process method or leave it basic with floaties.

got the back already, but this is the gist of it.

Love it, a Mecha Rick! I think old school texturing would be ace for this, considering R&M is a 2D show.
