Dreaming of my next DIY project, Kinloch Castle in the Isle of Rum in Scotland. It's for sale £750K UK or $984K US https://www.rightmove.co.uk/Kinloch Castle could turn it into a game dev retreat Might be biting off more then I could chew with this one, what do you think, worth a punt?
i should have gotten into teaching when i had the chance
a bit morbid , yes but, at least its realistic & "healthy" just do not believe the hype of the downside of it all, might not be all that bad. People say all kinds of things. No like click cause its morbidity otherwise i do cause of the photography skills. "cross-roads".
Photography skills are developing, the gate shot is pretty bad ass & i also enjoyed the bird.
Was "helpful to expand outside of digital", so thought if it doesn't apply to me now perhaps it will make others "feel good", to explore other options if they feel some type of way thus this share:
In the morning, I went to the National Gallery (which is free, though donations are welcome) in front of Trafalgar Square. After filling my boots with some paintings, I met up with my dad, we went for a bowl of chalk, and then took a Clipper boat from Southwark to Greenwich. It was definitely worth it—I never understand why more people don’t use the River Thames. We more or less had the boat to ourselves! I wonder if the government has ever thought about integrating it as a supplement to train fares, anyway great day out and around 25,000 steps!

That’s really cool! But make a thread if you’re gonna share a ton of pics?
And what the heck is a bowl of chalk, for us non-natives ?
Hi Eric! I've turned it into a contact sheet, I'm not very good at non UK English but I will give it a try, I like Dolly Parton so I will imagine she is talking, I hope that makes it easier for you, ha-ha!
Howdy Eric
Hope you’re doin’ mighty fine!
This mornin’ I moseyed on over to the National Gallery — it’s free, though they sure ain’t shy about hintin’ for a donation — sittin’ right there by Trafalgar Square. After fillin’ my boots with a whole mess of purdy paintings, I linked up with my dad, and we took ourselves a good ol’ fashioned walk, just shootin’ the breeze like we didn’t have a care in the world.
Then we hopped on one of them Clipper boats from Southwark down to Greenwich, and boy howdy, it was worth every second. I swear, I don’t know why more folks don’t cruise the River Thames — we practically had that sucker to ourselves, like our own private river taxi. Had me wonderin’ if the government’s ever thought about bundlin’ it in with train fares or somethin’ ’cause it’d sure beat standin’ shoulder-to-shoulder on a crowded platform.
Anyways, it was a dang fine day out, sunshine ‘n all, and my watch said I clocked around 25,000 steps — no wonder my dogs were barkin’!
Alright now, y’all take care n Y’all holler if ya need anything, be good ya hear and catch ya later and ill see y’all down the road, alright, I’m fixin’ to head out—see ya!
Stop polishing turds, they should be really shiny now! If not, add a multiply node to your emissive, some glitter with a Glint Conversion in your substrate material, a little defocus, some motion blur, volumetric light, fog, chromatic aberration and grain, Sorted!
