I’m excited to
share that I’ve wrapped up my recent role and am now open for new
opportunities in concept art and illustration! If you’re looking for a
freelancer who brings a unique blend of creativity and vision, let’s
connect.
Realistic Character Costume Design, made from scratch in Marvelous Designer to add to realism when rendering.
MD is a great tool for fashion designers, so it made sense to use when making realistic costume design.

If you didn't know, now
you do: my mentorships, where I train new students to become
industry-ready concept artists, are still open. They'll be rolling into a
timed discount before I announce my next course.
That's another wrap, I finished a recent project, check the complete
case study, process breakdown, and how I collaborated with my latest
client to get their needs met with character design:
Last week, over at Linkedin, I let the video-games and entertainment design community know I’d be reviewing concept artists' portfolios to support them through the current setbacks in the market and help them prepare for their future careers.
The response was massive, and I ended up reviewing over 40 portfolios!
I decided to post it here as I spotted so many common mistakes that it could be of help to others, even if it's not their portfolio being reviewed directly.
This was both a pleasure and a hustle to go through all of them. I’ve uploaded a video compiling the most common pitfalls artists tend to make. There are a lot of patterns I observed, from not investing enough in design and research to needing a better grasp of composition and color fundamentals.
Again, if you're starting out, I highly recommend taking a look at others' mistakes; they often serve as valuable learning material for your own journey. Thank you all for joining!
This week, I'm showing concept artists how to deliver game assets 300% faster using 3D. (no,you don't have to use AI; there isn't a need) while also raising the bar for creativity.
Yours truly was on Learn Squared podcast to talk about art, the muses of inspiration, passive income, career progression, and how travel and going offline can serve as a muse of inspiration as well as a gold mine of reference.
