ERROR in REBORN inmoprter.

Hey everyone. There is a bug that struck me a tad ago. Item importer tool in Reborn won't apply materials to the earth form of my courier. Flying form works perfectly well. Restarting doesn't help at all. Did anyone else have this problem and find the solution? Please write me a PM if you do. Thanks beforehand.

Check the errors on the importer log , you might find something there

I've had this issue multiple times.

It seems to be caused when you edit your session (re-import texture iterations for example) too many times.

I had to restart Dota Tools and create a brand new session with a new import name to clear it. It would eventually re-occur and then I'd repeat the process.

If you find the same thing we'd probably be wise to make a Dev.Dota bug report.

I am getting this red wireframe bug every time I attempt to re-import an item to check my texture or model changes. And when this happens, the game and the workshop tools slow down to a crawl, requiring a restart. It happens every time on my setup as soon as I make one single change - which makes the new item tool pretty much unuseable besides final submission.

I'd love for us to submit a group report on that. We could use this thread to gather all the data from multiple users - in which case a mod might need to rename this thread to something a little bit more appropriate. I'll paste the contents of my importer log here asap.

Yeah , I encountered some allot of issues on the courier importer side . Some animation snappings (even tho the anims were perfectly loopable) ,the wireframe things wich might be the same as Pior's error

I can confirm it also slow my client to a crawl making it un-usable.

For some reason I have not been getting the error today (that's a first !). I'll keep trying to make it happen to see if the log says anything.

they updated the workshop tools a bit

Yeah, I can confirm that as of Nov. 12th I am not getting the bug anymore. The red wireframe is not showing up, no more slowdown, and reimporting an item multiple times works as expected now. That's great !
