Hey Guys, Just wanted to post this thread here to get some feedback and as a little place to keep my work. I aminly do 3D work, I can also do some texturing but I'll admit im not the greatest at it.

If you ask me for a collab and I politely decline, don't take it personally, It's either because im too busy at the moment or I need a bit of a break from the dota workshop

As you can see, both concepts look a bit different from each other. I am mainly using the second concept for sculpting and modelling, but I will be using the first concept for texturing.

First of all. i like the idea. about the back. the belt/arm. but i think the head probably looks like a stump in-game..maybe try other design?

Yeah when I saw that concept art I thought long and hard about how to texture it since the two halves look very similar but different in length. I'm curious how you plan to deal with that texture wise (independent UV space or mirrored somehow)

@Haftoof: Oh I was talking about how would i make the base mesh of it since the top part is connected to her torso while the lower half is just swinging there. I would be mirroring it then i would size down one of the halves to match the concept.

Anyways, got the cloth parts done and a basic round over the hair:

Finished hair, arms, legs, weapon and misc slot. I will be redoing the shoulder slot because i didnt quite like how it turned out.

Made some very slight changes to the cape, finished the hair today. Tomorrow I will hopefully finish the entire sculpt then its off to retopology.

Side by side comparison of the default set and our set. (just lowpoly and bakes) I might have to redo the base of the arms and head because im not liking the shadows/shading I've got on the back)

Actually I was doing that. It's just that it yould be easier if I would model it all symmetrically then at the end, i would have one of the pieces shorter than the other when I'm skinning it.

Hello again m80s, We weren't able to finish the drow set since no one wanted to texture it and it just wasn't meant to be unfortunately. However, I have decided to work entirely on my own this time, with the exception of a loading screen since I am crap at those. I am now working on a chaos knight set that revolves around a creature from Harry potter, Buckbeak.

I really loved the scene of how harry potter felt free while riding buckbeak and decided to make a set in honor of one of my favourite movies. Thanks for looking I guess

Kind of... My workflow is that I get the basic shapes of the weapon/item first then I subdivide it a couple times then I bring it into zbrush for sculpting. Thanks for linking the concept

Here is where the Chaos Knight Set stands At the moment. Colors are very off for the mount, Still gotta rebake some things, Need to redo retopo of shoulders, and paint over some errors with other color fixes.

Man swag, loving that horn weapon. Love how it looks, are you planning to make it just standard horn? Any glow effects/molten to match up with the ogres firey nature?

Working on a Naga Set now. Finished the head since I had some free time and wanted to work on the set ASAP. Also main theme of the set is that she has been cursed when she was banished. So I am going to try to fuse the set pieces with the base model as best as i can.

That ogre magi set looks like it has a lot of potential.

Your textures could really benefit from some value control. Your yellows and greens and browns all just fade into each other, especially from a zoomed out view.

Greyscale your screenshot in Photoshop and zoom out, you'll see the image just becomes a dark mish mash.
Fixing you values will go a long way for readability.

I was wondering the same thing because I felt that it didn't contrast too well. I will try to fix it once I get back into it. Sadly, the Ogre set won't be completed because the file has been lost. thanks again though
