the relation between width and height, to me seems that it is too much compressed vertically, making it feel kind of...blocky/fat...I don't know, something like that :poly136:

what about the model itself, except from the height-width?
That feels blocky too...lot of flat surface on the sculpt while on the concept there are changes of planes in several points, like on the outer blades, wich in the concept seems like the beak of some creature while in yours it has the blade only on top,and flat and blocky on the bottom side...the handle is a square instead of a cylinder, the eye is flat with a circular carving and so on,it is blocky/flat overall. If it is the finished sculpt I don't think the quality is enough, cause it is very blobby/messy in many areas.
Anyway, that's should be something that comes with practice,so keep practicing

hm thanks..Anyone else? i'd love to hear some comments!
@DestroyerGR
First of all, do you have permission to use this concept? Because it comes from this thread.
i wouldnt submit anything before the owner's permission.
i just did the modelling to try doing an item i like
it turned out good in my opinion, and therefore i will ask the owner's permission to upload-submit
Awesome work on that Chaos Knight. I'm always excited to see mounts that stray from the usual horse designs, and this one's easily my favorite. Also a really bold choice of shield, I love it!
Your set is showing up in the workshop now, so whatever it was must have resolved itself (or you solved it).
Just a doubt: what's going on on the red arm under the shoulder piece? on the presentation image it shows the arm anatomy but in the model looks more like a cylinder...is because of the animation stretch or something? :poly122:
@archie:the blade looks cool to me,though the red detail make it unbalanced in my opinion. I think I would have stretched it toward the top a bit or something...maybe you can put a second detail on that style more toward the top?
Whoa now im a little more lucid i can actually make a good post.
It's hat day! and my birthday, as ive probably been really obnoxious in pointing out.
Congratulations and well done to everyone for the update, there is an absolutely stellar pick of excellent work and a lot of people getting their first item(s) ingame!!
Well done again to all and thanks for the support from polycount!
This update is some cruel Valve's joke.
I made an OD set (http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=183791178) in october of 2013, in november of 2013 part of set got accepted. In next update they even shipped files of set in game. In february I updated set to bring attention to it.
Week ago set files and promo were featured in Cyborgmatt's post. I even made new promo because old one is lame. People were congratulating me for finally getting in after all this months of waiting. Today they released update and when I launched Dota there were no good news for me since the OD in chest wasn't mine.
I'm not complaining about set itself, it's awesome. But I think it wasn't fair of Valve to switch sets just before the update.

rly strange. i wonder what were the reasons for this?
Probably it's my fault. Didn't notice message about mismatching name in tax information (Though I thoroughly filled new form). Now set is probably never gonna see the light because of that fuckup
Hey guys, probably a duh-question, I still haven't started filling out any forms regarding payment ever. Will Valve still sell my items even though I haven't finished/started filling out forms and such?
@vertical
Payment/tax forms and information are not related to having your items in game. Your items will be in game and you will have your money saved in your steam account, but you can't get any money from valve unless you fill those up.

They would not hold back content because of a missmatch in tax info. It might take a little longer, but I don't think that they would eliminate the sets chances completely.

Don't forget give a feedback
Was supposed to be just the hairstyle but I got carried away and did a whole set anyway.
Weapon could be longer or a bit slimmer on the head imo

Its usually good practice/etiquette to ask before doing anywork.

I have a feeling i'll have to resubmit all....any suggestions guys?
Edit: i've updated the tax form today already.

P.s. items were not appearing until i finalized the revenue split. I think they changed that.
Are you going to make it?
Yup same for me while submitting today too. My items were hidden until getting finalized. They're visible now though!

only thing that I found kind of odd is the mount anatomy, the back seems a straight cylinder from head to tail
Awesome hairs
The outfit (especially the hair) is quite Sailor Moon-ish
Edit: i didn't finish to write that marcus already posted a picture of her lol
I need to find some good concept from someone
I suck with coming up with good ideas...
