I've followed this site for some time, and decided to hop in and join y'all. I'm an aspiring 3D modeler/artist, looking to learn new skills, techniques, tips and what-have-you.
I'm a new (but not new to 3D) member of this board. I started in Autodesk Maya and moving now more and more to 3DS Max. Still trying to understand the logic behind Max. I hope to find some answer here in this borad.
My name is cornelius, I am from Germany, 25 years old.
I build 3d environments for a living, not strictly for games tho. I hope that's okay, I don't know if this forum is game-art only.
Hello. I am 3d modeller and i want to join some game team/project.

'Eyooo, Just popping by to burn my first post here. Been lurking forever, thought it was high time I joined.
I work on Pirates, Vikings and Knights II as one of the Lead Devs and have previously contributed to the mods Galactic Conquest, Eve of Destruction and Pirates! for Battlefield 1942.
The community here is great and thanks to everyone for contributing and building a wealth of knowledge.
I'm an amateur artist from Norway, with very little to no education in the arts at all. Self-taught and hoping to become a concept artist in the video games industry one day.
Hoping I can find some good material on these forums!
I'm Jake, a full-time student at Teesside studying Computer Games Art. I'm finishing my first year soon, and hope to be trawling these godly forums and one day posting my work for some critique!
Hello!
I am scrolling through the lowpoly thread right now (and have been doing so for the past days). For me, it´s super exciting and inpiring what skilled people can do with just few tris and a tiny texture.
Maybe, one day, i will have aquired the skill to model efficently, too!

I look forward to chatting with y'all
I haven't used polycount in years, forgot my old name, and thought I'd make a new account with my Steam workshop name and updated email.
I'm into shader programming and procedural texture generation and I'm looking forward to be a part of this community.

Just a happy beginner from sweden saying hi to the community!
Also I have a question I need to ask, can there be N-gon in a high poly model?
It'll be so nice if someone can answer that question
