Does anyone know how to submit custom ability icons? Would I just submit the images to the workshop under the "Other" classification? How would they be included in the set I'm making? Would I put that in the description when I submit it, and just hope that valve figures it out?

Put the icons in a collection with the rest of the set...
Thanks kite212, for some odd reason I thought collections could only contain model items. Thanks for clearing that up. Hopefully they fix this wd mask bug soon O_O
None of my models show in HMLV, even stuff I've already uploaded.
I'll try the .bat but not sure where to put it or name it.
just copy that crap into notepad do save as > run this.bat or waht ever you want. and put in the main bin folder of dota2 where hlmv.exe is, and the just run it and it should launch and give you better results
May be it's a way to disable workshop for a while, not sure. I'm not sure it's valve's bug
Does not disable it since the models compile and upload fine, it is a bug isolated to the various previews in the importer. Anyone tell Valve little late for April's fools?
Hey dudes! Well, after a while off on holiday, I finally got back to work and BladeOfEvil'sBane and myself finished up the first Terrorblade item "Abyssal Gaze" today hope you guys like it!
I got some textures done for this little guy (flying form shown here). His animations are currently being worked on, and I expect to have to do some color adjustments once I get to see him in-game with in-game lighting, but it's pretty much done for now!
@sukotto: indeed what Vayne said, maybe it looks worse because it's not viewed from the top but they look quite huge.
Finished a few items, only I could just upload two (1,5) because steam is down again. Every time I got some spare time, it seems they f*** up steam again. It's getting a bit annoying lately...
None the less this is what i got so far:

About the horns. I'll get some screen grabs from the game angle to see what it looks like. I think they look big because the head is tilted down in the animations. From a straight on side view they do swoop back a bit. Thanks for the heads up about it Andy and Vayne!

Hey guys I have been workin on a bristle set for a little bit off and on. This is my first non TF2 thing I have done ever. Textures aren't done, and still lookin for suggestions on stuff. Lemme know what you guys think! c: It is supposed to be a sort of "Forger bristle", or something along those lines. His left fist is kinda like an iron guantlet. It looks like poo at the moment though.

I don't know if anyone needs this or if it already exists,
but I coded a couple of programs to split and compile Dota textures
(especially useful with mask1 and mask2).
That way you can work on separate textures and then put them back together
(How to use is in READ ME(mostly drag and drop))
