haha, I assure you, my momma took good care of me and that was completely my own doing lol. I bet if I had grown up in a 5-star hotel, I still would've ate the same thing. I was one of those kids
I've had kangaroo from the local supermarket before, and wasn't overly impressed.
Kangaroo is super lean, so its flavour is a lot more subtle than beef. It also tends to be pretty tough and stringy if you prepare it wrong. If you cook it really slowly it can be nice, but ultimately I'd say you're better off with meat from a cow. Or pig, in keeping with the theme of the thread.
There have been times I would have liked a thread like this. When google fails you and it seems silly to make a new thread just to ask something like "where is that button that does this on the max ui?"
BUT having individual threads for all these little things is great, becuase when the next person google your problem, they get your simple thread. Instead of some 40 page behemoth.
This leads me to a big pet peeve: IF YOU FIND THE SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM, FUCKING POST IT. Don't write "nevermind figured it out" THAT DOESNT HELP ANYONE ARRRGHHTHRTGEgsthkophjdrgwe
There was some guy on the UDK forums a while back who built up quite a reputation for doing that. He'd ask a question, then when he'd worked it out, not only post 'worked it out' or to that effect, he would edit out the contents of his posts and change the topic titles. After a while and a lot of flaming from the forums, his response as to why he was doing it came back along the lines of "WHY SHOULD I SHARE *MY* KNOWLEDGE WITH YOU?".
haha, im back from Nordic Game Conference and what has happened to my thread? :--D
..i actually thought naming it that way when conversation started to drift around bacon, but i never did. Well now it's fixed!
Oh, you crazy Yanks with your mixing of sweets with bacon.
Some of us do it in the UK too - we caramelise bacon in our house, it's *really* good.
Get a couple of packets of streaky bacon, and roll it good and proper in demerara sugar so it's covered - then put it in the over at Gas Mark 5 (UK 5) for about 20 minutes to half an hour or so. The bacon shrivels up to a real small size, but is coated in a ridiculously delicious sticky mess of fat and sugar. Gotta try it to believe it.

Haha was it not you that renamed the thread? LOL Welcome back I guess.
Instead of making a new thread I'l just ask it here.
I have a low poly model that I unwrapped with some of the faces overlapping each other to save space since those would be mirrored.I would be baking a normal and AO from a high poly after.
So I've read that I need not redo my UV for this all I have to do is to offset those overlapping parts 1 Uv units apart.
Now my question is does the offset parts have to be exactly the same place relative the ones on my 0-1 Uv space.Or can I put them anywhere within the offset uv space?

they need to be exactly the same place relative the ones on you 0-1 uv since they map gets tiled.

Ah yes this is a well known issue. But the answer isn't really that obvious. Here's what you do.
how do you change selection modes in Max?
i don't even know what they're called but basically one lets you select poly/edge by selecting any part of it, the other one only selects when selection rectangle covers the whole poly/edge. i change them accidentally from time to time but somehow i never found the damn toggle or hotkey.
lol, i knew it was gonna be something awkwardly easy to find.
my non-english mind was never able to associate "window/crossing" with those modes, so thanks man!
another question, is it possible to make mouse wheel viewport zoom work the same way it does inside UVW editor?
meaning that in ortho view it would zoom towards the arrow rather than the center of window.

Simply. Amazing.
The breakfast of champions! More meat, less fat, everyone's a winner!
I laughed...and then I ate some bacon. Oh and Cholden, that reminds me of a nasty patty
always smoked baby

I added a few things to give it a little more savory flavor.Bbq sauce and some spices; Nothing fancy but it was a true man meal.

o.O talk about hiperactivity xD
Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis.
If you get it from Aldi, they cut it a little bit "casually", so you end up with back bacon that's almost as thick as gammon. It's fantastic!
Has anyone had French toast with bacon? Holy hammertime, it's tasty. Especially with a proper cup of tea.

Came across this.
Seemed relevant.
Based upon this line alone, seems like many peeps in Polycount roofie their bacon and have sex with them...I guess they like 'em salty.

I'm still getting some artifacting... fuck it I'll paint it out in photoshop.
I've never felt more satisfyingly guilty.

This is the best what google gave me..

Apparently, you're all doing it wrong.
