If this is your 512, I must say it looks quite low rez compared to what I see on other threads. You might want to optimize your UVs, and work out your viewport settings to ensure you are showing the maximum potential of your texture.
Love the multicolour shot at the top of the page. It's like some funky lego hammer . But I think you've nailed the makers theme so well done and good luck.
I'm also glad to see you are exploring the axe design again. That rounded blade really adds to the overal piece.

now i started to paint
low poly texture wip, no spec map yet
any one has some tips, things i should change etc
colors, darker, lighter,...
from left to right:
sharpen, normal, sharpen, normal
i like the 3th the most
just did an overpaint on my old axe concept
start modelling now
wip diffuse, no spec
