Looks good. The spike on the top of the head isn't reading particularly well to me. The bottom of the pommel looks a little blobby at the moment, but that could be because it's still WIP.
cool stuff!
2 cents: the detail on the socket for the head looks a bit noisy, and those brows might look a little blocky/not so well connecting to the rest when I look at the sculpt.. I love the head though.
I like those "acidburns" on the blades, kind of weird atm with the plain metallook, would be great to have some oxidation-action like some unshiny parts going on in the final material.
The brows are a tad weird. They feel like solid blocks that are inserted in to the skull... Fix that!
Also not a big fan of the blob-ness of the blades; but I guess that's on your to-do list.
my comment here ... create an eye socket it will really bring out bothe the expression on the cheek bones and the brows, looking good so far and the blade curves feel like they need a little bit more stress to them
I really like that asymmetry in the skull, it adds a lot, I think. Also, were the wraps as separate subtools in the sculpt? It might have been easier to sculpt them as separate subtools, but it also would have taken a bit more time. Just curious to know about how you were going about the model.
That is a killer sculpt and design, I think a lot of people pictured this in their head once they heard about the challenge. You have done it justice, my only crit right now is the handle part could use less wraps as its getting a bit busy, larger and more defined is what i would like to see.
@Dylan - I just carved it straight into the basemesh seeing as this is going to be relatively low res anyway. I probably should have done a proper wrap using different subtools, but this was quicker.
@churro - Yeah, I've been thinking that too. If I keep them the same width they are now, I'll only have a few pixels each per wrap segment. I'll fix it for the next update
Damn man, you took off running! I love the first weapon you've got going and I think you are going to nail the second one even more. I agree with BoBo, the design is rock solid. My only issue is the spike horns are a bit too sharp for a hammer in my opinion. I also cannot see the depth of this so that could solve that "issue". Keep going man you're doing amazing work!
Nice! One cool thing about these guys is there scale. In the trailer they tower above a cathedral. Perhaps you could incorporate that idea into the handle, some arches/doorways. Just an idea, right now it looks awesome
Great stuff Sub. Man when I saw that the guy who's weapons I was making (which i have to put on hold till the contest is over) was entering I got pretty scared and now I'm terrified O.o The new hammer is looking great. I do think the handle needs some beefing up. I hate to say it but I can't wait to see more XD

I agree, the concept is beautiful as it is
Bah! It looks great. Don't change it. GOGOGOGOGO

and yeah, don't change it, it's probably gonna get messed up that way
Here's a livestream of me working as well. It's pretty slow, so I'd suggest just flipping through to see stages.
Sculpt check and scale/color check.

It's 3 sided, so that spike is the third blade. I still have to touch it up a bit.
Yeah, I'm still working on it. It'll look nice and sharp when I'm done.

Keep going! Don't give up! Don't not start not stopping!

Good luck, I'm cheering for you Max!

Thanks for the support everyone.
