STRIKER

We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

• 1 embed maximum (1 image, or 1 video, or 1 gif, etc.)
• Anim GIFs must be less than 2 mb
• Externally-hosted images must be less than 500 kb
• Uploaded images must not exceed 1000 pixels in any dimension
  
• Don't upload PNG, use JPG
  
• Breaking these rules may cause merciless editing by a Moderator

Nice work guys! @Arcadehero try to get rid of those black lines, if you just color the lineart with a orange tone that should do it! also not sure if you used a reference, if not its always good to use a ref to selfcheck

Wow, some breathtaking beauties, lovely lights and colors.

I made a further experiment with verve painter and metal look.
"On golden pond"


As you have bump and light in verve painter, metal is really fun.
So this is more or less half sculpting, half painting.

@crazyp. I would add more contrast, more value. All surfaces are looking a bit flat, imho.

I am on a mandala trip since I got infinite painter on iPad Pro. Actually I am almost drawing on my IPad only, since I got this Apple Pencil iPad 9,7" combo.

@ErikNilsson  Cool, thanks! The technique is fun, and makes me think. Though I definitely need to work on it a bit more. I tend to jump right into profile view, but it takes a bit more thought/foresight for me to start with a perspective view since I typical use this approach for ideation. I guess it's fundamentally about the purpose of the drawing, wether I intend just to explore silhouette and design, or rather draw something more presentable...?

 Ah look at that! You sly dog, you got me monologuing!
