We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

The overall scene is kinda boring. I think you could fix this by increasing the size difference of the house and trees.
The broken bridge in the background is kind of random looking and out of context...maybe you could add a ruined city skyline to compliment it?
The colours are kind of bland as well. I know that's the feel you were going for, but maybe you could add in some different tones. I think it would look nice if you had a few hits of highlights in the leaves, with a bit of bloom from the bright yet gloomy sky.
As for the sky, I would add a soft gradient over it. Either painted in or with the gradient tool. Light at the bottom and dark at the top (sky that is further away has more atmosphere between itself and the viewer whereas sky right above has less atmosphere between.)
Going back to the tree, you could pick out a few branches to make it interesting. Right now the silloette is very "sphere on a cylinder"
Overall it's nice and I look forward to your next one! Hope that helped
