We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

Really awesome creature Fight!
Havent posted in a few days so more from me ;D
edit: the PREVIOUS page is epic as fuck
dfacto, love the gritty texture on that, what did you use?
wizo, nice, the red/black/white is very striking, as are those designs. Love the one on the right, but you could give the composition some punch by making the most of the colour contrast available to you with compositional elements, if you were going for a graphic panel kinda look?
Avanthera, nice studies, the overall values seem off on a few though (2nd one down, 5th, and 7th). Also where humans are depicted, the proportions/scale is off. It can be hard because humans give such a clear indication of scale that is instantly recognisable. Keep an eye on where heads intersect the horizon, and on the 6th one down especially you could draw guides to the vanishing point to figure out relative scaling and placement
Had my final life class last night, and I'm sad that it's ending. I've learnt a tonne, and so much of it is due to the passion of the tutor. Anyone in the Guildford area considering classes, look up Elena Andreeva
Here's a painting from last night's session, please excuse the roughness of it, but any crits appreciated.
Self crits: proportions need work, head too large, legs too short. Precision and clarity of brushwork needs improving.
selaznog : really like those pointy teeth mutants!
more mutants/cyborgs
Here's a collection of some of my brainstorming sketches from the last week or so.
And a crosspost of a sketch I did a couple days ago.
I'm starting to realize I should start out each painting, even if it's a thumbnail with a line drawing of sorts, I keep losing the relationship of things when I go in with a big brush.
I'll work on that on the next ones.
Forgot to post these yesterday. Creature sketches.
I'm kind of becoming a one trick pony so I'm going to try to sketch something up tonight that's abit different than my domesticated aliens and their breathing masks ha.
fightpunch Stunning work sir! Look forward to these warm ups and cool downs!
here a good morning nick fury
some early morning skecthes
Skull glove!
Got my hands on some waters soluble oils and tried them out with this painting.
Done 90% with a palette knife and then I used my fingers for the transitions. Still some things I want to touch up and revisit, which I might at some point.
wasker : beautiful colors and composition!
today's sketches
took a couple of hrs
My etchings for the day:
Wizo, i am glad to see you too. Fun sketches!
collaboration with shotgun, *crosspost from our thread
This one started out as a traditional drawing with charcoal and white chalk that I scanned and worked on top of in PS, added the sky, the riders, the moon some blades of grass and just generally touched up the picture a bit.
That's awesome wasker. love the texture you've managed to get in there.
I wouldn't mind some critique on the lines and shading methods; those are areas I feel I'm struggling with. Lots of my drawings are sloppy looking and I'm trying to get a more crisp, professional feel to them
