We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

Developing some pixely art for a project
Guess this is sorta a sketch :poly122:
rogueNoodle: Loving that little space dude.
Heres a commisioned illustration i finished up a few weeks ago. Its for a table top gaming figure. Can't wait to see the model version.
Two more:
this one was mostly a improvised color study of sorts, man so much good stuff here, I shooould get back to 3D though
Shut up and take my money...
This one was a little more distorted than most, but fun to get your head around.
@ Fightpunch, that robot with six legs by the river is badass.. How'd you learn to draw like that!? :-)
It kinda reminds me of how Craig mullins drew back in the days of the game Marathon, before he polished his pieces
Did this for a friend who idolized her (Whitney Houston)
@tacitmath-awesome as always, how long does it usually take you to make one of those concepts?
btw it's a wacom bamboo tablet and I'm loving it so far.. but the pen nib is wearing down very fast, anyone has this problem too? I mean I was drawing for like 4 hours and I could already see it wear down a little.. I googled a bit and found that putting a piece of paper on the tablet surface helps.. it does but still wears down fast :shifty: and I'm not even pressing that hard.
Tomm: Yeah, totally happens to everyone. Wacom does make replacement nibbs, so I honestly recommend buying a pack while your tablet's model is still in production. I use an older Intuos and have a real hard time finding replacement parts.
another WIP (I like how when I get tired of a piece a just call it a WIP just to prove people this is not my full potential, or 'please don't judge me' (if that makes any sense))
edit : something like 1h on this one
swizzle: Dig it! on the first head, her lips are pulled back and down a bit; minor fix will add a ton imo
I want to jump in on this, improve mah skillz.

I'm still learning!
I wanted to remove the lines, but didn't have enough time. Onto something else!
Trying to make better lighting after studying a couple of books about color and light
