Hey tacit math you are cracking out some sweet creature designs. Keep them coming. As fr myself I just finished reading "Snuff" the lastest Discworld novel and just had to do a Bust of Sam Vimes. Here is my progress so far.
@Dan!: I love that your female model is more modest than some of the others I've seen:D I think she looks great Some toes would be nice though :P But I'm guessing she'll get some clothes in the future so its all good.

Finished up my first normal mapped model
Looks really good , And i dont think shes gonna have more clothes since it seams like he have made the "clothes" in geometry.
Are you hinting for a top row banner It is worthy in my opinion lots of hard work
tacit math- In what are you rendering those? Interesting.... I need to know!
A quick sword I've been working on for the last couple nights to get more familiar with Max. Learning a lot as I go. Tomorrow is Low Poly, UVs and bake.
Working on an Island scene in my spare time. Haven't had much time at all, but when I really get further along, there will be a large stone daymarker sort of monument in the center of the island, or something of the sort. Not really sure- just been playing it by ear thus far.
i like this shot but its resolution is not browser friendly, even when it resizes it, it still loads the slowest, for me. try grabbing screenshots that fit most monitor sizes. not all of us have 27in monitors, xD.
Hogarth has some really great references. Have you looked up George Bridgman by any chance?
his sketches inspired me when I was 17 taking my first anatomy class from Marshall Vandruff.
The mans a genious, and an inspiration too my drawing style
His successor at the Art Students League, Robert Beverly Hale is also an amazing teacher of the style of loose drawing.
How would you go about making a low-poly for this, specifically the pants and the sleeves? Just smush the two layers of fabric together on one plane, or make 2 shells, the top one with alpha? Would that even be worth it in regards to poly count and visual impact?
Awesome level Geledonutt!
Nice hand study Dylan... hands can definitely be a challenge to get good.
Cool dragon almighty_gir, gettin' me excited for Game of Thrones to start
Done with the polypaint... time to retopologizzle.
firstkeeper: thats awesome stuff, on the staff i think you could maybe work a neutral in where you have the blue now, i love the color, but it could use a few areas that are more subdued to let your eye rest a bit. LOVE the axe! your paints are always awesome!

Programming by my brother, modeling by me.
PINEAPPLE SURPRISE!
i think his body could be way less defined, his power doesn't come from muscles, he doesn#t need that much mass
let me guess : it was based on swordmaster tutorial ?
Wall details I created for an environment. screenshots is from marmoset showing wireframe and normal map details. This mesh is 2,550 tris
Loving the flow and shapes on this guy. You should definitely consider taking this up a couple of notches.
Sweet model but those wrist guards have silly amounts of polygons. Maybe take a few out and put them into the shoulders?
Awesome!!
