just watched the first video...
This man is a logical genius. I'm betting he could come to a logical resolution to "this statement is false" without cutting a loop.
(cutting a loop E.G. stop at first sign of loop, in which case, "this statement is false" exists therefore it is true, thus declaring "this statement is false" to be false. stopping here stops the looping but its not logically resolved)
1. Post
2. Get crits (some have a tendency to make excuses, but will listen)
3. Make the improvements right away if it isnt too late
4. ??????
5. ART WILL LOOK BETTER
Here is what you do
1. Post (a crappy model, but nothing we havent seen before, you just need some guidance)
2. get crits
3. "You're right. I need to be harder on myself if im going to learn this, blah blah blah I need to get my shit together, Herp, I need to learn these forms etc etc."
4. ???????
5. NO IMPROVEMENT WHATSOEVER, we're lucky if you're even working on the same project anymore.
This isn't about self discipline or any magical eye of the tiger study/workout moment that will get you there. Its just about focus, trial and error, and motivation. We all do art for a similar reason, passion. Im willing to bet almost everyone on this forum was doodling on worksheets in elementary school and was always just a "little" ahead in grade-school art classes. You just seem like you're meant for something else, or you're wayy ahead of yourself. I really don't think you grasp the process or concept of what 3d art is and should be.
I would make my usual wall of text to help you but its led to two threads of you giving up. Any normal person would sigh and find their calling, but you want to "try" and take everyone out with you like a 5 year old.
"Hey guys look at this nose I drew!"
"Eh its a little off"
"Doesnt look right dude"
"Its ok I guess"
"Nostrils dont look right"
"Try and sketch it first"

Speak for yourself. Eye of the tiger is a life-changing song. After I listened to it I instantly became proficient with 3D art... and just about anything else in life.

Long story short, world most intelligent man
Dood absolutely, i love listening to him, sometimes he takes his time to really explain and really clarify and simplify his philosophy, and that's even more brilliant. To place your philosophy in a modern day type of iteration.

One time I gave constructive criticism and got a legal threat out of it
From the same site that freely gives away mod powers to unstable 19-year-olds like food hampers. You could've anticipated that.
@Cooljay
It's going nowhere because it started nowhere.
