The EU's trademarks authority has permitted a German firm to brew beer and produce clothing under the name "Fucking Hell". It may be an expletive in English, but in German it could refer to a light ale -- Hell -- from the Austrian town of Fucking. Whether it will be brewed there is another question.
ill poke my head in here again and just mention the sumerian god of fermentation once again:
definitely recommended to all those who love hops, but they have a little something for everyone. my personal favorite from them is either the tricerahops (double ipa) or the sleighr (dark double alt ale). if you happen to reside in eugene, oregon, or have a bevmo, total wine, or other equivalent beverage location near you, i STRONGLY advise you to try at least one of their many 22oz bottles.
Had this up in Scottland a few month ago. It wasn't widely available in UK as far as I know. It is now though! Well, My local Sainsbury's is selling it anyway.
And imo, I think its even nicer than the original.
I haven't tried any new beers in a while, but for those of you who live around the Toronto area, July 27 - 29 is the Toronto Festival of Beer at Exhibition Place. I'll be there on the Friday probably, if anybody else is interested, maybe we could get a small PC get together.
I've recently fallen in love with hoppy beers, and so anything I drink is typically an India Pale Ale. Some are much better than others, but I've never had a bad IPA.
Favorite brew, bar none, is Stone IPA , from Stone brewery out of Escondido California. It's got awesome flavor, I'd drink it every day if it wasn't so expensive.
Stumbled upon a local beer fest at the weekend. Had some of this and its absolutely gorgeous! So I had some more!
Thistly Cross ‘Whisky Cask’ Cider
Matured with chipped whisky casks this is a dry & subtle cider. Infused with mellow, vanilla oak of the cask. A refreshing, complex drink to be savoured. http://www.thistlycrosscider.co.uk/products-page/all-products/
