i think that if there were a game out there (much less a fighting game) that looked and "felt" like this i would shill out the $60 without blinking an eye . . . by FAR my favorite stage entry.
awesome environment man!! haha i like how you added the dude in there LOL!!!! anyways you have an excellent eye for materials, and overall picture. It's really coming together! The only critique is probably the rope thats around the arena though..might've clipped down onto the floor a bit too much perhaps
how the bollock do you do all that!?... it's all so damn consistent!.. I haven't checked out the rest of the competition but this will take some beating
Would steam be coming out of the drain? Seems it'd be going the other way with such a humid hot room, also not sure with how well the steam reads, might be better without it. Killer scene regardless.
All the fancy smoke & mirrors aside, I appreciate how well you conveyed the fighting area while maintained a distinguishable background & foreground. it looks like a fighting level, and captures the original essences of the original E. Honda stage.
wicked sick!!!! I hope street fighter graphic is like this..gonna be killing!!
jordan may ask some tips from this images below..?
How to make the light effects on the wall? its a reflection effects? Its IES light effects.
look so real..

For me it looks like a simple lightfunction :] with good texture . You can see it on his texture sheet (left down corner) .
Jordan, you beast, you made my inspiration/reference folder that much thicker! I've picked up a bunch of things from this. Thank you very much, man.
One question though: do the fat guys have any eyeballs? 'cause either they are too dark or completely absent - looks pretty spooky on dem closer shot.:)
This is superb and top notch work. Very inspirational, and a great indication of the capabilities of the DX11 technology. I'm sure you would be hailed as a god if you got around to making a tut one of these days.
Incredible work. Love to see this in a game, but 2.5 d. The guys face is incredibly creepy but that's my only crit. I have never seen an environment with this level of detail and craftsmanship.
was wondering though, you have some textures being used in the scene that aren't on the texture sheet like the drain or the metal pipes for example....did you use a shader for their texture somehow or? i looked real well on your texture sheet and i didn't see anything that resembles their diffuse in any way...are you using some crazy trickery there that uhh...maybe you could let us know?
That's some Jaw dropping work right there!
I can't even begin to imagine the amount of hard work and dedication required to pull off something remotely close to this.
Excellent work!!

Anyway, congrats on a job fantastically done.
Congrats. on making such a stunning entry...this will be in my ref folder for years and years
How does it run in real time?
Those dudes are hard, chillin' in the dirtiest bath house ever and don't give a shit.
Yeah I'm wondering that myself >< Regardless the scene looks amazing! This is just beastly!
are you kidding me guy !? wow.
