I'm beginning to really like playing around with surrealism, so what with this next environment i really want to push the aspect of surrealism. It's basically a much of different parts of Brooklyn stacked on top of each of other to create a city. Warehouses, heights, neighborhoods, industrial buildings and the sky is actually a much of new york city towers. There will be road ways and other city like elements connecting the different levels of the stacked city.
These is what i have so far and will be most more soon !

back w/ a small update. After watching Inception twice i had a few new ideas about the layout of the buildings, that is some being side ways.
love your work so iam waiting for this one
blocked out a few more buildings, and started blocking out the Brooklyn bridge in the BK (yes that weird diagonal lines are the bridge). I have a long list of smaller props to add.
first clay/test render !
**SPOILER ALERT***
I like the idea and looks promising
So its going to M.C. Escher crazy? This is absurd..I like it.
I'd give his original post a quick read, it lays it out pretty clearly.
looking pretty cool so far mistry
I'll be watching this thread and am excited to see where it goes.
Where are they man!!!!! where the fuck are they, stop messing with my head bro! level 5 inception!
keep it up!
BlvdNights,rawrsie : Thanks !
gsokol: its not as crazy as MC's stuff, but i think that direction. but.. i want to make mine unique, but not a puzzle...
paulsvoboda: i like you idea ! i'll be adding alot more custom pieces next week, right now i'm just blocking in everything with the 2 buildings i have setup right now.
ae: level 6 inception ! the situation !!!!
igi: thanks, i dont i think my layout is similar to SM style of layout for a Brooklyn env. I've gone the surrealism route while SM gone for more realism.
yeeeboooooy! now scrap this environment and make the jersey shore house!

I really like how you're transitioning from warm at the bottom to cool at the top. Great contrast.
Glad you're finishing it this month.
@jeffro: the red is just notes i like to make. Makes things easier to remember hehe.
yeah i really wanted to improve my overall colour theory on this. in my past environments i've haven't pushed the colour theory that much before, but i think this one is gone really turn out well.
@:Hboybowen: well this is surrealism, and so making without any support would make sense, btw the bridge leads to the sky. where the new york city is

You need to make a conversion to a realtime engine in a future project, would be cool to see what you can come up with in a game engine.
I agree put this sucker into an engine.
