Maybe Because You Type Like This. Also all of your posts have been 1 sentence praises or simple critiques. People won't respond personally to one sentence responses usually, especially for critiques. They want something more in depth and well thought out.
Stick to it in your Vector GT [W.I.P] and you will probably get some help/comments, Keep posting updates and get some modeling done. Show people your serious about what your doing and not just looking for attention and you'll get feedback.
Post work, with wires stating what you are trying to achieve and what you want to learn. If you find you don't get critique ask explicit questions.
Also stick to plain English, no slang, funny capitalization and other crap, That just annoys folks and makes them see you as an annoying kid.
err you have 8 posts.
5 of them are replies to other threads.
3 of them are threads you started.
Of those three pieces you've posted.
1 has replies.
1 shows no images, which is probably why there are no replies.
1 shows a car that's not all that hot.
If you don't get replies one of two things happened.
1) You did such an amazing job people are rendered incapable of replying by the sheer awesomeness of what was posted.
2) It sucks and you need to work harder.
Always assume #2. Never fall in love with anything you create and every new project you start set out to blow the doors off anything you've done previously.
Based on what little art I've seen, I think you're on your way but you are not there yet, keep working on it.
Also be very clear about your goal for the pieces you post. If its high poly say so, if its low poly game res art make sure people know that. Posting wires and texture sheets help people see how you made it and give feedback on what you can do better.
If you're looking for mindless praise, you're in the wrong spot.

2)is pretty much all I ever assume. If you post something, and it quickly falls into the abyss of old threads, assume it wasn't anything to write home about. Just keep working, and posting (in a non-spammy fashion). That means, do a significant amount of work before posting again. Also (because it always a bad idea), don't post a model that looks like you've spent five minutes on. I back up Vig's advice completely.
If you post something, make it easy for people to critique. That means wip images, references, application, style, etc.

Think this should be changed to
1) Your work is distinctly average, not enough wrong with it to get a lot of critique but not outstanding enough to get asspats.
advice: if you want acceptance, show your stuff to your family and friends. if you want critique, look no further than yourself. (i.e. learn to be hard on yourself and weigh your art against those actually making games and films)
people will post replies if they have time to. i have very little time personally, and the time i do spend on serious critiques usually falls on deaf ears. keep in mind you are asking people to take time out of their busy schedules to voice their opinions.
also, don't take this sorta stuff personally, because if you do, you are setting yourself up for failure in this industry and any other that involves visual art.
at the same time, don't sweat the fact that you are even asking this question to begin with. i'm sure most of us here asked ourselves this very same question starting out. i know i did a long long time ago.

Feels bitter sweet bro. I see this happen from time to time.
I'm new here (been reading for a while but only just signed up) but I have to say, I see where the original poster is coming from. I've come from CGsociety and they always reply within hours no matter what, looking to help in any way they can... Here, it seems like if you're not a pro already, you treat people like crap (unless they are directly asking for help).
It just seems like unless you are directly asking a question that easy to answer, people don't bother with you.
Disclaimer:
I could be VERY wrong here. I'm a noob to this site but it just seems like... well... I felt the need to write a disclaimer, put it that way.
Quality over quantity.
Sure I could go around replying on everything, but there is a lot I don't know about and I would like my reply's to be useful.
Also making a critic is not a trivial task, it takes some time and knowledge.
It's true-ish ... Inspirational and awesome artists tend to get a TON of replies but it's all "OMG!", "Amazing!", "Saved to my inspiration folder!", etc
I think that over the years, more and more "noobs" started posting shit without even knowing the basics of game art and expecting that people will just tell them what to do... I remember when I was a student, my friends and I didn't want to post stuff here, because we just felt not good enough compared to the really good artists. Even now with a bit more XP, I often get little to no comment on my stuff. Maybe I don't make interesting stuff, maybe there's nothing to say, and it's not good enough to say "awesome". Just keep working and one day you will do awesome stuff to. Being ingnored is a part of the learning process, because it does mean something about your work.
If you're good enough and don't need much advice, people won't bother commenting your work. They could say "nice, keep it on", but imagine if everyone does this on every post... the forum would feel like spam.
If you're not good but show some potential, people will try to help you, but only if you show interesting stuff.
If you're really good and popular, people will just say "WOW ! AMAZING ! AWESOME !" no matter what you post. It's maybe good for your ego, but it doesn't help you getting better...

Quit being a drama queen and post some stuff that people can crit on instead.

Take the advice of everyone here. Post work. Take crits into consideration. Be nice.

But that's fine. Hope you enjoy your stay.
HP, I noticed alot more of what I call 'Null kids' coming on. My only suggestion is that they look at other threads before posting.
Go make more art and less posts in the general section. You will get more replys that way if you continue posting your progress of something.
I love you, Vig.
Who said you were allowed to talk yet?! Get the hell back into your hole.
That's what I tell myself at night right before I cry myself to sleep.

I blame the TF2 comp.
