I already have one at CA and CGHUB but what the heck, the more people that see my shit the higher the chance I'll get taught stuff.
Yes that's right, I want critique and don't hold back, even on small stuff!
Though if you simply like my stuff it's nice to hear that too. ;P
So I'll start with some portraits I've done recently and my entry for this months CHOW at CA.
I guess it's your style, but something painted a bit more ruff would help your stuff come forward. It stop's at a human portrait instead of being something that really comes to life. I hope you get what i mean (:
Nitewalkr: Well, those hindu gods sure look cool don't they? :P sltrOlsson: Thanks for the tip, I guess I do tend to overwork some areas. Will work a bit looser then. VianReps: Yes, I use photos. JohnnySix: Thanks man, but what's BUF?
Damn, thought you were one of the posters on Beyond Unreal forums, that's wierd. I know I added you to my watch on DeviantArt ages ago, I guess I can't remember where I first saw your stuff then lol.

Keep it up. :thumbup
Perhaps you're thinking of UnrealPlayground, I used to hang out there ages ago.
Okay so picked up texturing this guy again. Will only be the body for now. Might build an armor later.
Not 100% on what look I want to give him except that he's fit for fight. I leans towards either the more sofisticated high-rank general type or the scarred robbust warrior... with extra bodyhair.
Thanks peoples. Realised I'm not updating very often which is bad. All I got for show this weekend is something I threw together 3am being slightly drunk... :P
I think I'm going to dig up an old project so you'll probably see more 3D from me in the near future.
Been commuting to work 4 hours a day the past month so had not much time to ut on any personal work, mostly on weekends. Been sketching a bunch on the train though so might post some of those later.
Theres something thats bothering me about the chair legs, is it just me or is it too far back? although im not exactly sure of where the eyelevel is. That and cleaning up the edges a bit for maximum win.
@Jackwhat; thanks man, yeah I think it's due to the placement of the feet that makes the perspective look wierd. I've changed them but will probably have to correct them even more. I haven't though about eye-level actually but I suppose it would be from someone sitting in front of him and painting the portrait, since it was my plan to have it look that way. Perhaps I should raise the calfs and show less of the thighs?
@DarkStar; thanks, by rabbit I guess you mean the latest chick? :P
Ribcages on curvy women has always been a bit tricky. I should study some refs closer next time.

One crit though, more like a suggestion. Drawing thin borders to fine tune the hair and other parts of the face to sharpen the drawing wouldnt hurt.
And
Are you indian?
Thanks for the tip, I suppose you mean an inbetween color for the border to make less contrast between the foreground and background?
No I'm Swedish. :P
Nice to hear you are Swedish.. I thought you were indian after observing your ganisha like lady art. <.<
Pretty sure I remember you from wAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaay back on BUF , your art has come in leagues, great to see your progress over the years.

Further progres on the CHOW.
Keep up the good work though
Tried out Sculptris for the first time. Will definately do some serious stuff in it.
And a random...

Thanks a lot for the links, will check them out when I get home.
Did this quickie before going to sleep yesterday. Might as well post it while I'm at it. :P

Done moar work, lots of stuff left to do.
He looks sad and needy infront of the brighter sky. =\
I suppose you dont use the leemo drawing structure to set the prospective of these and just use paints and brushes for it...
I think I'm going to dig up an old project so you'll probably see more 3D from me in the near future.
Cheers
I have also made some drawings on paper. Perhaps get to photograph them some time. For now you'll have to settle with more egos. :P
Also messed further with acrylics...
Nice colours man, keep it up.
Took a pic of one drawing I'm planning to turn into a sculpture.
Anyways, been doing this and that.
Got some stuff to show anyway.

But theres something wrong with the right arm and right side of the rib cage of your badass rabbit...
@DarkStar; thanks, by rabbit I guess you mean the latest chick? :P
