Khthon that image you just posted has just alerted me to what's been bugging me about the re.wind's moustache's wrap: it should be considerably thinner than the rest of the moustache. Personally I'd go with a shape like this: )(
Nice touch with the eyebrows re.wind. Scrapping the Wolf Head might not be such a bad idea; the Tyrant's Helm fits the set so well that the Wolf Head feels a bit redundant. Your time might be better spent focused on the texturing and fine tuning of the remaining items.
On the eyebrows, could you model them more thicker?
You did another thing that greatly bugged me about the Wolf's head with the new eyebrows...
It looks too much like a sprite, rather than a proper model.
Make the eyebrow be more attatched to his face, make them a rounder model that goes slightly into his face. It doesn't look very good when the model end in paper thin triangle defying gravity.
On the actual looks off the Eyebrows however, I'd recommend making them look less sad and more angry.
Slant them more, make them look more like the red bearded dude in the picture Nofacej posted :O
His moustache is still a fair way from his nose. Compare it to Cthon's reference. Could you just grab those top few verts and pull them up to the nostrils. I think it's make a huge difference to the believability of the beard.

It's cause he has the beard going up to the mustache instead of the mustache going down to the beard.
Axe is a bit long, hmmm, handle is a bit big, tempted to move the normal map to geometry as the whole axe is ~850 triangles. that's what, under 20% of the guideline allowance?

p.s.s. Anyone notice the shield on the soldier's back? No? Good.
New & improved uv map & texture without being cheap and mirroring it all. Working on a custom wood texture for the Shield, but its not working that well, at least the way i was attempting to do it. wooden planks looking like brickwork clearly means you're doing something wrong.
I don't know if concept-wise this is the one I want the soldier to have ('fraid zwebbie might have you beat there) but I will say these are some of the best damn looking models submitted thusfar and I want that axe.
Will the axe be replacing the shovel? I think you posted that earlier, and sure, it's no prob, but the animation in the beginning that flips the head could look weird. I dunno if I'm wrong, but the equalizer animation could look better for an axe. Also, the equalizer is sort of a 'berserker' weapon..
Anyway, all of the items look awesome! If you were to give up on one of them, I would say the wolf hat. Beard is awesome!:thumbup:

Wip new horn. The one i had just didn't fit. Using the bugle as a reference this time, and making it more compact. uvmapping those horn shapes is not fun.
the original idea was to use it as a drinking horn, but i'm increasingly disliking that idea due to the whole animation thing.
The alternative is to flip the model around a bit and use it as a horn trumpet of sorts, which is the easier option but is almost a literal model replacement.
Also have ideas for the buff banner flag replacement. Think viking ship sail.
I think the animation would work, I mean, he does put it up to his mouth and lifts it upwards. could you test it out? or is that very hard? besides you could just talk to sparkwire.. XD

these are great items and ideas i hope you get them in this will be great for that map called viking to get a ton of guys to use a wolf hat or the tyrants helm and the horns and axes would be sweet good luck ( btw i dont play soldier so i wont have that great ideas but im trying to learn how to play him )

I liked the X's for eyes, was comedic. Although the fur is hard to do in TF2, I don't know if it can be pulled off.

Tweaked axe & texture. Going to have to take a closer look at the ambasador's texture to make the lines look better.

You should add a what i believe is called a bumpmap
that way the engravings look nicer with the lighting.
