Aces count for 1 in quite a few card games (including the Spies favourite, Baccarat), I think it works as it is.
Here's an updated model with some Max materials thrown on, I moved the strap down and made the whole thing a bit more angular to further differentiate from the Dead Ringer. Thoughts?
@Ed - all effects are always up to Valve. Best he could do would be suggest a general idea of what the item may or may not do, and they usually don't care what stats you come up with.
Well, I've suddenly found myself swamped with things significantly more important than modelling trinkets for the Spy - and so, regrettably, I very much doubt I'll get things finished and up to standard in time for the deadline.
I'm not exactly disappointed, I've really learned a lot and enjoyed myself. I'll probably still finish and submit my items when I get some more free time.
I've been thinking up names myself, there's a lot of potential for something really good.
The best I've come up with so far is Provocateur's Shill, though that might be a bit wordy.
As for hidden cards, I'm tempted to slip an ace (or a 10 for the 10th class) up the Spy's sleeve as part of my Winning Hand model, although I'm currently having a lot of trouble in getting anything rigged up at all.
I was also thinking of something like:
However with the Spy's long sleeves all the detail would've been hidden - which is kind of the point.
If the contest was still going on when I saw this, I would've advised you to use Saxton Hale for the Jack card if you were gonna go through with this. He isn't too much of a Jack character, but hey, who else could you put on there, the Administrator?

The brown leather didn't fit with the silver so I switched it to black; not sure if it's TF2ey (yes, that's a word now) enough though.
The zero is hidden anyway and it would bring together the whole 1-9 thing on the deck.

Because someone does it in, like, every thread.
Anyway, I like the roulette theme of the watch. the model looks neat.
the prime directive is to model weapon replacements. it's pretty much a 're-skinning' contest.
That one looks SO FREAKIN SWEET =3
but i want to tell you something about the winning hand.
you say you keep the order A-9 wich is simple.
but with a update you could chose the easy spy disguise menu, wich is :
1 2 3
123 123 123
yeah something like that, guess u already saw it somewhere.
i dont know but maybe this could be a little problem with your cards
