I vote for 2... That is a super-stylish knife, dude! I love the serrated blade, that's a nice touch. The ball at the end of the pommel looks like it would make the knife easier to grip for both a forward slash or a downward stab, and I think you should keep it whether you decide on 1 or 2.
The people who like 5 only drink water and eat plain white bread while wearing bland clothing.
Sounds like me.
I prefer 5. Reason is, the others look like army knives and/or kitchen knives. 5 looks different, looks sleek and pointy, something you'd want to stab people with.
I actually like 1 the best, but apparently it's a cheese knife. So maybe take the notch in the bottom from 1 and put it on 3 or 5? I feel like they work, but are a little too plain.
ever heard of someone killing someone with a playing card? i remember in that one movie, Shanghai Noon, Roy O'Bannon had an Ace of Spades rigged on an accordion extender from his sleeve kinda like this
I've been thinking up names myself, there's a lot of potential for something really good.
The best I've come up with so far is Provocateur's Shill, though that might be a bit wordy.
As for hidden cards, I'm tempted to slip an ace (or a 10 for the 10th class) up the Spy's sleeve as part of my Winning Hand model, although I'm currently having a lot of trouble in getting anything rigged up at all.
I was also thinking of something like:
However with the Spy's long sleeves all the detail would've been hidden - which is kind of the point.
I had an idea for a Spy replacement for the Sapper. Since you've done the knife and disguise things which didn't have replacements before maybe you could do the sapper. It would be all casino themed with like a roulette on top but the effect would be, as it is destroying an engineer building said building would go bezerk and shoot at anyone on any side.
RoronoaDSanji That was my original idea, however now that it's got the card theme on there I think sticking more themes on will just make it messy; it's already a bit over-detailed.
Edspear It sounds like your idea is a lot more function than form, all we're designing for the contest is how stuff looks.
I had the beginnings of an idea for a slot machine themed sapper, I might try it once I'm finished with my watch & knife.
This theme has so many places to go, probably the best I've seen for the Spy. Good job so far. I'd love to see that slot machine sapper some time as well.

Pretty happy with this, modelling time.
Looks a bit plain in my opinion.
Some blade ideas. Red line is there to show you the sharp bits.
1 goes well in contrast with the handle
I know I've done a ton of comparisons, however I'm still pretty undecided on which to go for, so here's one more with Valve's knife thrown in.
Knife should be simple.
Sounds like me.

On a side note, I thought of some names for the watch using gambling terms, use them if you like.
Gambit's bluff - gambit is a term for sacrificing a lower piece, bluff- gambler for lying
Joker's revenge - Joker is a trickster, as is the dead ringer
The 53rd - the 53rd card is the joker, goes with the dead ringer as a tricking device
Voisins du zero - a french term used when playing roulette
